This GMT is in overall great, attractive condition. The case is strong with normal signs of wear with some nicks. When looking at the lugs, the bevels are worn, but still visible. The beautiful fuchsia bezel shows some wear and has developed a lovely fade throughout; the blue portion shows more of a fade than the fuchsia portion. The back of the bezel is fuchsia colored. The dial is in great condition with light patina. The lume has developed patina and aged to a pleasing beige color. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has been relumed/ color corrected to match the lume on the dial. The jubilee bracelet is in great, honest condition with some wear and has stretch between the links which is common for this style bracelet.
The GMT Master is Rolex's signature pilots watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It's one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because of its instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1969 example is in overall beautiful, honest condition with it's beautifully aged faded fuchsia bezel. Collectors refer to this dial variation as a Mark I "Long E." When looking at the "Rolex" text on the dial the "E" has a longer central bar (same length as the top and bottom ones) and that is where this nickname comes from. Rolex made many different variations of the 1675 and this example has a "fuchsia" bezel which gives the watch a completely different look compared to the more common blue & red "Pepsi." These fuchsia GMTs are highly sought after by collectors due to their rarity and for the aesthetic. We really love the combination of the creamy lume color, fuchsia bezel, and jubilee bracelet!

Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
