Vintage Watch Condition Examination:
This GMT is in great, attractive vintage condition consistent with age. The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear. The blue-back bezel is a service replacement and in great condition with normal wear; the red portion has faded. The Mark II dial is in attractive condition with light patina. The lume on the dial are a lovely eggshell white color. The hands are in great condition with light patina; the hour, minute and second hands are service replacements. The lume in the hands matches the lume on the dial nicely. The USA jubilee bracelet is in great condition with normal signs of wear and some stretch between the links.
Description: Vintage Rolex GMT-Master 1675 Pepsi
The GMT Master is Rolex's signature pilot's watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It's one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it's instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards.
Over the years Rolex made many different variations of the 1675 and this example features a matte "Mark II" dial. The best way to distinguish the mark 2 dial from other matte dials is the font, thickness, and spacing of the word "Rolex" on the dial. From the nicely aged "Pepsi" bezel to the jubilee bracelet, this watch has that iconic look and feel!

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
