Pre-owned Rolex Datejust ref 1603 (1967) has all the usual hallmarks of a coveted vintage Rolex watch, including the distinctive acrylic crystal, older-style case and bracelet, and Pie Pan dial decorated with simple applied indices and Tritium that has since aged to an attractive orange-ish hue on this model. The Datejust rose to success in the 1940s with the world's first automatically changing date display, a waterproof Oyster case, and a self-winding mechanical movement. This design set has since become a staple of the Rolex portfolio and is present on the vintage Rolex for sale here.
