For those unfamiliar, the Date is the smaller cousin to the trailblazing Datejust dress watch, featuring a 34mm case instead of 36mm. It appeals to a broader range of collectors, including both men and women. As a product of the early 1970s, this example is outfitted with an acrylic crystal, rivet-link Oyster bracelet, and a stunning steel dial decorated with exquisite door stop hour markers and tritium. Each feature is distinctively vintage and will captivate even the most discerning luxury watch collectors. Ref. 1505 also sports the discontinued engine-turned bezel and the caliber 1570 self-winding mechanical movement.
