Description: Cartier Santos Demoiselle
Pre-owned Cartier Santos Demoiselle ref W25066Z6, like the original Santos, takes inspiration from aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. The First Santos came to market in the early 1900s and was developed by Louis Cartier at the pilot's behest as a more convenient alternative to pocket watches. The Demoiselle is named after Santos-Dumont's most beloved plane and embraces a more feminine aesthetic. It still has the famous square-shaped Santos case and blue cabochon crown but does not sport the inherently utilitarian exposed screws on the bezel. This model features silky steel and gold links, a lovely gold crown, and a silver dial decorated with Cartier's signature Roman numeral hour markers and blued steel hands.
